YouTube API Services Disclosure

Visva Music LLC operates Visva CMS+, a Multi-Channel Network (MCN) and Content Management System (CMS) aggregator platform for YouTube creators. Our platform integrates with YouTube API Services to provide creators with analytics, revenue tracking, and channel management tools.

This disclosure explains our compliance with:

📊 YouTube Data API v3

Purpose: Retrieve channel information and video metadata, and manage channel branding settings such as the About section only when specifically authorized.

📈 YouTube Analytics API

Purpose: Access views, watch time, subscriber statistics, traffic sources, geographic data, and engagement metrics.

💰 YouTube Reporting API

Purpose: Access revenue reports for monetization calculations, network reconciliation, and invoice generation.

youtube.readonly

Read-only access to channel information, video metadata, playlists, and subscriptions.

yt-analytics.readonly

Read-only access to views, watch time, subscriber changes, traffic sources, demographics, and other analytics.

yt-analytics-monetary.readonly

Read-only access to estimated revenue, ad revenue breakdown, CPM, and monetized playbacks.

youtube (limited scope)

Used only for updating your channel About section, including description, keywords, or country, when you explicitly request and approve that action.

Channel Metadata

• Channel name, ID, and thumbnail
• Subscriber count, video count, and total views
• Purpose: display in your dashboard and verify channel ownership

Channel Statistics

• Views, watch time, subscriber changes, engagement, traffic sources, and geography
• Purpose: analytics dashboards, performance reporting, and creator support

Revenue and Monetization Data

• Estimated revenue, ad revenue, CPM, monetized playbacks, and reporting dimensions available to the authorized account
• Purpose: calculate creator earnings, reconcile CMS partner reports, and generate invoices

Video and Branding Data

• Video titles, descriptions, tags, publish dates, and public status
• Channel description, keywords, and country only when editing permission is specifically granted
• Purpose: content reporting and user-requested channel management

YouTube data is used exclusively to:

• Display channel analytics in your Visva CMS+ dashboard
• Calculate and generate revenue reports
• Prepare invoices for CMS network partners
• Verify channel ownership and eligibility
• Provide customer support related to your channel
• Perform user-requested channel management actions
• Comply with legal, accounting, and audit requirements

Visva Music LLC's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not:

• Sell YouTube or Google user data
• Use YouTube data for advertising, retargeting, or personalized ads
• Share YouTube data with data brokers
• Use YouTube data to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility
• Combine Google user data with unrelated datasets for profiling
• Use data for any purpose unrelated to the user-facing features described in this disclosure

We do not permit employees, contractors, or other humans to read YouTube user data unless:

• You give explicit consent for support or troubleshooting
• Access is necessary to investigate abuse, fraud, or a security incident
• Access is required to comply with applicable law
• The data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations

Authorized personnel receive only the minimum access required and are subject to confidentiality and access-control obligations.

• YouTube access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption
• Tokens are held in a secure, access-controlled database
• All data transmission uses TLS 1.2 or higher
• Database row-level controls restrict each account to authorized records
• Analytics may be cached for 1–12 hours, depending on the data type, to reduce API calls
• Access is logged and reviewed; security controls are assessed regularly

• Access and refresh tokens: retained only while your channel remains actively connected
• Cached analytics: automatically deleted within 30 days
• Historical revenue and payment records: retained for 7 years for legal, tax, accounting, and audit obligations
• Audit logs: retained for up to 3 years
• Data no longer required for an authorized purpose is securely deleted or anonymized

You can revoke Visva CMS+'s access at any time through:

• Google Account Settings
• Visva CMS+ Dashboard: Settings → Connected Accounts

Upon revocation, stored OAuth tokens are deleted immediately and cached analytics data is purged within 24 hours. Historical revenue, payment, tax, and audit records may be retained where legally required.

We share YouTube-derived data only with:

• YouTube/Google when needed to provide API-powered features
• Your assigned CMS network partner, limited to aggregate revenue or operational data needed for invoicing and channel services
• Legal authorities when disclosure is required by law
• A third party for a specific purpose only after your explicit consent

Service providers processing data on our behalf are contractually restricted to our instructions and must use appropriate security safeguards.

To request deletion of your YouTube data:

1. Email privacy@visvamusic.com with the subject “YouTube Data Deletion Request.”
2. Provide enough information to identify your account and channel.
3. We will verify and process the request within 30 days.

Certain payment, tax, contractual, or audit records may be retained when required by law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data associated with your YouTube connection. You may disconnect your account without losing access to the public portions of visvamusic.com.

• You confirm that you have the right to authorize access to the connected YouTube channel
• Google and YouTube may independently collect and process information under their own policies

We may update this disclosure when our API use, requested scopes, or data practices change. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, communicated through the dashboard or email before taking effect.
